•  National Family Week

  Local Government East Midlands is supporting National Family Week and would encourage local authorities in the East Midlands area to join in with hundreds of other organisations across the country to run events and activities for families in your local community.

• Regional Pay Briefing - 4 November 2009
  The Local Government Employers' met with Chief Executives and representatives from local authorities to discuss the local government pay negotiations which was followed by a Pension Briefing by Terry Edwards.  The event was well received.  Further information will be sent out shortly to local authorities.

• Performance Management Skills Training

  A practical workshop, part of which explores the role of behaviour in performance and will help you deal with a wide range of performance management challenges'
  
  Local Government East Midlands will be holding four two-day training programmes on Performance Management skills. LGEM will be running the session four times over the next 6 months.
